Livestock pre-sale checklist
To ensure a smooth selling experience, please check that you have completed all of the following steps:
- Ensure your PIC is LPA Accredited
- Ensure your livestock have NLIS Devices
- Ensure you have the current National Vendor Declaration/Waybill (CO720 or EO720)
- Ensure you supply a copy of your National Vendor Declaration/Waybill to the carrier (Livestock cannot be transported without documentation)
- Have you arranged a livestock carrier?
- Do APL Guyra Armidale have your trading details? Please complete the client detail form and provide to our office if not

When filling out your National Vendor Declaration (NVD) to sell livestock, it’s important to answer the question: “Number of electronic NLIS devices in this consignment.” This section is part of the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS) and supports the mandatory use of electronic NLIS devices in NSW.
