About the Role

As a Livestock Agent, you will be responsible for:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with livestock producers.

• Sourcing and marketing livestock through auctions, private sales and direct consignments.

• Providing trusted advice and exceptional customer service.

• Representing APL at livestock sales and industry events.

• Identifying new business opportunities and growing your client base.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Livestock Agent.

• Relevant industry licensing and accreditation.

• A current driver's licence.

• Strong auctioneering skills.

• A proven ability to negotiate and get deals done.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• A self-motivated, proactive approach with the ability to work independently.

• A genuine passion for the livestock industry and rural communities.
