Job Title:

Experienced Stock & Station Agent

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Stock & Station Agent to manage and grow our portfolio of livestock clients. This role involves the buying and selling of livestock, as well as providing expert advice and services to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Livestock Sales & Procurement

Organize and conduct on-farm livestock assessments and sales.

Coordinate with saleyards and auctions.

Ensure accurate livestock documentation.

Appraise and list livestock for sale.

Coordinate livestock viewings, negotiations, and contracts.

Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, graziers, and rural stakeholders.

Provide market insights and value-added advice to clients.

Attend industry events and regional community events.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including livestock movement and sale requirements.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Stock & Station Agent.

Licensed and accredited under relevant state legislation.

Strong understanding of rural industry, particularly livestock and property.

Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.

High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Strong communication and reporting skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a regional team.

Work Environment & Conditions:

Based in Casino/Kyogle/Northern Rivers

Requires travel within regional areas.

Some weekend work may be required for auctions or events.
